Excellence in Safety Training
Vital Safety Training Ltd. opened its doors in Drayton Valley, Alberta in December of 2003. Over the years we have provided training to clients from across central Alberta. All of our training and certificates are endorsed through St. John Ambulance, Energy Safety Canada, Global Ground Disturbance and Alberta Hunter Education; and adheres to their protocols and standards.
Our Training
We provide training in a range of safety certifications including Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive, W.H.M.I.S., First Aid, and an ATV Rider course to name just a few. We opened a new and spacious training facility in Drayton Valley equipped with three full classrooms that offer our students the space required to perform all practical skills training in one spot.
Our customers are our first priority. We pride ourselves on delivering quality instruction and ensure our clients not only leave with a certificate in hand, but with practical experience from our hands-on, in-class training.

Danny Westlin
President
Danny began his career in the “oil patch” in 1977. He started in field working on drilling rigs and quickly moved into Safety Supervisor. Eventually Danny’s talents and experience moved him to a classroom where he is able to share his wealth of knowledge.
Yvonne Westlin
Office Manager
With over 12 year of experience in the safety business, Yvonne Westlin received collection certification for drug and alcohol testing.
Nolan Westlin
Financial Officer
As Vital Safety Training Ltd.’s financial officer for 3 years, Nolan Westlin also has 13 years of experience and training in accounting.
