Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
If a student cancels enrollment in a course, we require 48 hours notification prior to the start time of the course. If a student is cancelled within the allowable 48-hour window, we will reimburse the full course fees paid to the original method of payment. Should a student not attend or fail to cancel, all fees will be forfeit by the student and no credit or refund will be made available.
A student may reschedule a course up to 48 hours prior to the start time of a course without fees applying. After this 48-hour window, and at Vital Safety’s discretion, a student may be permitted to reschedule to an alternate non-cancellable date and a $20 fee will apply. Only one rescheduling instance will be permitted, and no credits or refunds will be available to cancellations or non-attending students.
If the student is rescheduled to an alternate date, they must take that course within 2 months of the original scheduled date or all paid course fees will be forfeit.
Should a company need to cancel a student, they have the option of sending an alternate student, as long as they inform Vital Safety prior to the course start time.
All of our courses begin at 7:45 a.m. and any student arriving after class orientation will be denied access to the class with no exceptions. In this instance, the student may be rebooked for the next available course date, subject to a $20.00 + GST rescheduling fee. Only one (1) reschedule is permitted and the rules of our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy will apply.
Fit for Duty Policy
We ask that all students are ready and able to perform the protocols of the course they are attending. Each student is required to complete their class in a safe and respectful manner. Students are not to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and must conduct themselves in a way that does not disturb the learning environment or safety of others. We reserve the right to enforce this policy at our discretion, and no credits/refunds will be made available to those not adhering to this policy.
You may now book and pay for your courses online by Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, or Interac online. Please refer to our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy above as it applies to all payments.
If you are purchasing your course online, your personal information will not be shared or given to any other parties, but we may use it to contact you if the need arises.
We welcome walk-ins, but we highly recommend checking seating availability to avoid disappointment. We cannot guarantee availability of spots in any of our courses.
